Little Warriors is taking a new approach to connect with a greater number of children across Canada through the "Help Kids Be Brave" initiative. Danielle Lowe was inspired to write the Jesse song "to make people understand that even though child sexual abuse is a terrible thing, there is always hope". The new collectible Little Warriors Be Brave Boy Doll for 2009 is called "Jesse" after the song. This song will be released to all major radio stations across Canada creating a demand for the Be Brave Dolls to reach the hands of multiple children across Canada.

The intention of the Be Brave Dolls is to reach the hands of children, in every community throughout Canada, to offer a child comfort when they are disclose that they have been sexually abused. Dolls will be delivered to community organizations by Little Warriors volunteers.

*Gift of Hope Terms, Conditions and Restrictions:

  • In order to receive your CD and Jesse Doll, a donor must contribute a minimum of $10 per month (for one year) online through the Little Warriors Page at CanadaHelps.org. You can also choose to pledge the full donation amount of a minimum of $120 with a one-time donation for the Stand Up For Our Kids Program. Please inform Little Warriors in the 'message/instructions' section on the CanadaHelps donation page that your donation is directed to the Stand Up For Kids Program.
  • You can choose to keep the Jesse doll or you can donate the doll back to the community and it will be given to a facility where children disclose that they have been sexually abused.   • The Jesse Doll represents a market value of $8.04 Canadian dollars, while the CD represents a market retail value of $2.00 Canadian dollars. Canada Revenue Agency permits that donors who donate a minimum $120 per year towards the Stand Up For Our Kids Program will receive an income tax receipt amounting to the full amount of the total donation. This stipulation is due to the fact  that the total combined retail values for the two above mentioned products are less than 10% of the yearly donation total.
  • Income tax receipts are automatically generated for donors that choose to donate through CanadaHelps for the Stand Up For Kids Program.
  • As the donor, you are responsible for additional shipping costs for the CD and Jesse Doll. Please click here for important information regarding Jesse Doll & CD delivery.
  • As the donor, you are required to provide your contact information to Little Warriors to ensure successful delivery of the Jesse CD and Jesse Doll.
